The road connects six villages in the present day Ohafia clan (Isiama Ward precisely), and was abandoned over 20 years ago by the past administrations leaving it at the mercy of grasses and vegetation leading to narrowing of the road and difficulty for cars to navigate freely.

While speaking to residents of the area, the Deputy Governor advised them to desist from dumping refuse in the drainage which results in blockage of water ways. He urged all Abia citizens residents to always observe the monthly environmental sanitation to keep the State clean. “Abia is God’s own State, and cleanliness is next to godliness” posited the Deputy Governor.
