Pastor Dr William Kumuyi, the general superintendent of Deeper Life Church has assured Christian faithful of divers denomination to expect “glorious transformation through Christ” during the coming glorious crusade to be held in Aba, Abia State.

Pastor Kumuyi gave the hint on Wednesday while speaking with newsmen in Aba when he arrived the venue of the crusade which is scheduled to kick of on April 25 and end April 30, 2024 at the Aba mega mall, beside Aba new park, Osisioma, Enugu-Porth Harcourt expressway, Aba, Abia State.

Pastor Kumuyi and his wife was gloriously received by a large number of Christian faithful of the Church at the venue of the crusade where finishing touches were ongoing in preparation of the crusade.

The five day crusade is tagged: “Glorious Transformation Through Christ”.

While briefing newsmen about the expectation of members and other Christian faithful who would attend, about the 5-day crusade, pastor Kumuyi said the event is going to give the needed transformation in lives.

“God said he is still the same, he has not changed, he says I’m God, I change not and Jesus Christ the same today and forever, what he has done before in other places, he will do today, so whatever problems people have, they should bring to the Lord, and we will pray to God in the name of Jesus, he has always answered”. Pastor Kumuyi said.

Speaking about the choice of theme for the crusade, Pastor Kumuyi said the word “Transformation'” in the theme is a word for change and change for the better.

“A change from the inside to the outside, that is the inner man and the external and what we can do is to change the outward form, we can change some external things but only God can change from the inside. He gives us total change in our spirit soul and body, our circumstances and family, that is why we have the theme, that’s why we have the “transformation”, the glorious thing is that it brings glory to our lives, joy and gladness.” Pastor Kumuyi said.

On the number of people that would be transformed during the crusade, Pastor Kumuyi said it would depend on the number of people who attend the crusade, hears, believes and trust the Lord to bring a change in their lives, family and destiny.

Pastor Kumuyi revealed that the program is not organized by Deeper Life Church alone but in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), pastors and leaders of various Christian blocks in CAN with a goal to follow up attendees no matter where they are after the crusade.

Other clergymen present during the press briefing at the venue of the crusade are: Rev. Ojo, Ojo Udoma, Abia state Chairman of CAN, Pastor Godson Ezenwanjiofor, Zonal coordinator/state overseer, Enugu 1, Pastor Ikechukwu Ibe, State Overseer , Abia 1 , Pastor Emma Okoro, State Overseer Imo, Pastor Sylvester Odeme, State overseer Enugu 2, Pastor Chike O, State overseer, Anambara 1, Pastor Micheal Amadi, State Overseer, Anambara 2, Pastor Magnus Nwoko, State Overseer Ebonyi, Bishop Chikezie Elekwa, Abia state chairman of PFN.

It could be recalled that Pastor Kumuyi cancelled the 2022 crusade scheduled to hold in Aba due to security concerns in the South-East geopolitical zone.

The crusade was scheduled to hold in Aba from May 24 to May 29, 2022 but the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra told the 82-year-old cleric not to go ahead with the crusade.
