Suspected Fulani herdsmen has attacked Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Candid Reporters learnt that the attack was carried out late Sunday evening.and claimed some lives, with many others critically injured.

Candid Reporters also learnt that that the herders attacked mourners at Ugwuijoro Nimbo community, leaving behind tears and sorrow.

Some of those killed were identified as Okeh Simon Ugwu Oruku, Okeh Chukwuebuka, Julius Ogbonna Odiegwu and Gabriel Ugwor Ezea.

The invaders took the villagers by surprise and shot sporadically at the mourners.

Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Enugu State Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe is yet to respond to an enquiry sent by newsmen.
