The Federal high court sitting in Umuahia on Friday 13th January dismissed the suit brought before it by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), challenging the candidature of Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo,

the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate for Bende South state constituency, Abia state.

Candidreporters.com gathered that in a judgement Delivered on Friday in Umuahia, Justice Musa Liman, stated that the party lacks the locus standi the institute the suit and described their action as a distraction.

This puts paid to the several months of serial litigation instituted by PDP against numerous political parties in the state.

Reacting to the judgement, Comrade Ugochukwu stated thus “I have nothing to say now, the only thing I have to say is that, in the end, all Glory will return to God.”

“The incumbent who is behind this suit knows that his time is up, that is why he is catching at straws”.

“This is just the beginning of the string of victories attached to the Ugo Bende Victory Movement”, he concluded!
