The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, has emphasized the importance of marriage as a divine institution established by God. According to Dr. Otti, marriage is a purposeful journey anchored in faith, commitment, and vision. He stated that the strength of the family constitutes a veritable foundation for a thriving society.
Dr. Otti made these remarks while speaking through Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Abia State National Assembly Liaison Officer, at the solemnization of holy matrimony between Lillian Philips and Amos Isa, son of Abia State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Danladi Isa. The ceremony took place at the FCT Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Wuse, Abuja.
The Governor’s representative urged the couple to lay a solid foundation for their family on love, peace, and unity, highlighting the importance of a stable home environment in fostering societal progress.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, spiritual leaders, and well-wishers, including the groom’s father, Mr. Danladi Isa, Abia State Commissioner of Police.
