As the momentum of the ABIA CHIRTSMAS VILLAGE FESTIVAL builds up, the Progressive Abia Youths (P.A.Y) have promised to hold a six day long free medical outreach for Abians and resident alike that will be visiting the Christmas Village from the 26th to 31st of December 2023.
Based on a press release that was made available to the media in Umuahia, the President of P.A.Y Comrade Kingsley Ekejiuba, revealed that the move to conduct the free medical checkup within the Christmas Village is to partner with the project and utilize the platform to reach out to the people during the yuletide.
He explained further that the free medicals will cover different range of test like Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar and various other test which will help ascertain the state of health of the people.
Based on the press release, the free medical checkups will hold from 9am to 2pm everyday within the Christmas Village.
While appreciating the P.A.Y and her leadership, the ABIA CHRISTMAS VILLAGE FESTIVAL Project Coordinator Emenike Jason iroegbu assured the association that they will get every support needed from the project team and that the free medical checkup will go along way in improving the health of Abians and residents.
The ABIA CHRISTMAS VILLAGE FESTIVAL is billed to kick off on the 25th and ends on the 31st of December 2023. The event will hold at the Trade More Event Center (Okpara Suare) in Umuahia, Abia State.
