Nigeria records 7 deaths and fresh 1,200 coronavirus cases on Monday.
The additional figure was given by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Lagos alone accounted for more than half of the new cases, with over 600 positive samples.
However, the seven persons who died were confirmed to have died of COVID-19 complications.
