Adventist Technical Secondary School has immerged winner of the second edition of the Abia state schools quiz competition with 52 points.
The event held at the international conference center, Umuahia, Abia state.
Victory College International scored 40 points that earned them the third position while Masters Vessels Classical Academy scored 42 points to grab the second position.
The Grand finale of Abia State Schools Quiz Competition is sponsored by Ray Nkemdirim Foundation in collaboration with Abia State Ministry of Education, Secondary Education Management Board, SEMB, Abia State Scholarship Board, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, FLO94.9 FM among others.
About 180 Schools across Abia State took part in the competition from Local Government to Zonal series where three of them qualified for the finals.
The Coordinator, Ray Nkemdirim Foundation, Uche Ama-ohakah commended the turn out in this year’s competition. While applauding the partners that made the event a huge success.
Ijioma great, a student of Mayfair Academy, who scored 332 in the last Joint Addmision and Matriculation Board(JAMB) was given a brand by Chief Raymond Nkemdirim.
Recall that Mayfair Academy won last year’s edition held at International Conference Centre, Umuahia.
