The Abia state schools quiz competition grand finale on Thursday kicked off in Umuahia the Abia state capital.
The event was held and well attended at the international conference center (ICC), Umuahia.
The Abia State Schools Quiz Competition is sponsored by Ray Nkemdirim Foundation in collaboration with Abia State Ministry of Education, Secondary Education Management Board, SEMB, Abia State Scholarship Board, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, FLO94.9 FM among others.
The prizes include one million naira scholarship for the winning school, #500,000 for the first runners up and #250,000 for the second runners up.
Candidreporters.com recalls that Mayfair Academy won last year’s edition held at International Conference Centre, Umuahia.
