Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has directed minor cabinet reshuffle in the state executive council with the addition of two Commissioners and one Special Adviser. The Commissioners are: Salome Obiukwu, who now assumes office as Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Chiemela Uzoije as Commissioner for Housing and Christian Enweremadu as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture. The unsealing of her 205 office of the Senate wing was done on Tuesday along with combined personnel of security organisations. The Federal High Court in Abuja has rescheduled Friday September 26th, 2025 for the determination of application filed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on the no-case submission in his case with the federal government. CANDID REPORTERS recalls that the ruling was previously scheduled for October 10. In a document sighted by CANDID REPORTERS on Monday, “the scheduled ruling on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s no-case submission has been abridged from 10th October 2025 toFriday, 26th September 2025,” Kanu is currently facing trial for terrorism due to his push for the actualization of Biafra.
