As Nigeria marks another Independence Day anniversary and welcomes a new month, I extend my warmest greetings, goodwill and best wishes to Nigerians at home and across the world.
Nigeria is a nation of immense promise, vast potential and extraordinary people. Although our national journey has been marked by challenges, our story remains one of resilience, courage, perseverance and an unwavering determination to build a stronger, more prosperous and united nation.
The Nigeria of our collective dreams cannot be built by government alone. It requires the patriotism, sacrifice, creativity, enterprise and active participation of every citizen. We all have a responsibility to strengthen our institutions, promote peace and unity, create opportunities, support one another and contribute meaningfully to national development.
As we reflect on our journey as a nation, let us renew our faith in Nigeria and embrace hope over despair, unity over division, and service over selfish interest. Our diversity is a strength, and our shared aspirations for a peaceful and prosperous nation should continue to unite us beyond our differences.
On this significant occasion, I encourage every Nigerian to remain committed to the enduring values of peace, justice, hard work, integrity, patriotism and national progress. The Nigeria we desire is possible, and through responsible leadership, purposeful enterprise and active citizenship, we can build a nation worthy of the hopes and aspirations of generations yet unborn.
I congratulate all Nigerians on this Independence Day anniversary and wish everyone a peaceful, rewarding and prosperous new month.
May God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and grant our nation greater peace, stability, prosperity and progress.
Happy Independence Day and Happy New Month!
