There is no better way to live a happy and satisfied life, other than to share with the less privilege ones in your community or society at large.
The holy book (Bible) as recorded in proverbs 22 vs 9, states that “Generous hands are blessed hands because they give bread to the poor.” Thus, when we give, we will be blessed.
The holy book also at James 1:27 made it clear that the “Religion God, our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
But the one million dollar question is,who is truly giving from the heart other than to show-off?
The same holy book told us that by their fruits and conduct you will spot them.
Such an examplary personality is evident in an ancient community in Abia state.
This God sent creature is Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu, a mirror of benevolent character.
One will wonder why such quick conclusion. That is because it has become a clear fact that he deserves more literary elevating terms to express his epitome of love and generousity for the less privilege and downtrodden in his community.
On how he displayed such generousity, Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu founded one of the most vibrant humanitarian philanthropic institution know as the Ohuhu Humanitarian aid Foundation.
The foundation so far have provided a modern health center in Ohuhu, it raised the community market structure to standard and also provided funds for agricultural development with the Ulo-Nna farm settlement which aided agro expansion in his community.
Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu foundation has also provided free medical treatment to lots of people in his community and also taken care of widows as well as distribution of wrappers to women in his community.
He also cathered for the registration fees of some students who were determined to study but financially handicapped, he also motivated others on the importance of education and the advantage of being educated. He single handedly gave a structural facelift to the community school he attended.
He provided brand new laptops to students to brighten their horizons in this growing era of technology.
It is also on record that he offered financial support to undergraduates in his community. He provided funds to empower others.
Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu also graded roads in his community, promoted sports activities by sponsoring the Amaetiti community cup which runs annually and hands the winner the sum of N1m (one million naira) while others gets consolation prices.
No doubts, Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu is a core philanthropist. He is indeed a mirror to cast in the minds of the entire human race. He is actually giving back to the society.
Judging from his background, Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu is a known goal getter, fully determined to succeed in his area of endeavors.
He embraced education and also allowed education to pass through him.
A glimpse into his educational background proved that during his school days, he was among the top best in academic performance among his peers.
His primary education was at Amaetiti community school, Ofeme, Abia state.
His secondary education was at Secondary Technical School, Ofeme Ohuhu, were he sat for his West African Secondary School Certificate Examination.
He also attended Abia state polytechnic, Aba and the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu.
He attended police college at Enugu in 2001 before he joined the Nigeria Immigration Service in 2006.
Due to commitment in service, he was among the contingent sent on an official duty to United States of America .
Due to his love for education and natural desire to care for humans, he enrolled into a nursing school in the United States of America where he graduated and got certified as a nurse.
Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu was born on 14th April 1985 in northern Nigeria Kaduna by God fearing Parents, Mr and Mrs James Ejike Emuwa JP, who were also examplary in character in the community.
Due to this examplary qualities embedded in Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu, his community leaders have decided to honour him with multiple award of recognition.
The multiple award of excellence will be done by the Ohuhu Council of traditional rulers, on Friday July 9, 2021.
He will be presented with multiple awards of excellence as Onyinye Ohuhu 1.
The event will be chaired by HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu.
The multiple Award ceremony is scheduled to hold at the palace of Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu, Umudiawa, Umuahia north local government area of Abia state.
