Chief Chikwe Udensi, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) on Friday revealed that professor Greg Ibe has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the APGA and a serving minister is set to join the party.

Chief Udensi gave the latest revelation in a live radio political program on flo-fm 94.9 in Umuahia, Abia State.

In his words: “Not making consultations, he (Greg Ibe) has joined already . I spoke with him two weeks ago before he joined, he has already joined, he has registered in the local government, he has joined from the records we have, he is a member of the All Progressive Grand Alliance.”

Expressing the fact that he is aware that prof Ibe has picked his interest form to run the Gubernatorial race under the PDP, Sir Udensi affirmed that there are more people in high places that are to join APGA.

“Not only him (Greg Ibe) the, I am told that one minister serving is also joining, one retired Major General is has also joined. It is going to be an open competition. When everybody comes in, we will contest and the party will decide on who they want.

“a serving minister is set to join the party. I don’t know his name” Chief Udensi said.

Chief Udensi also added that APGA is working hard to get the best candidate for Abia State.
