Dr Uche Sampson Ogah, the minister for mines and steel development has refuted the claim circulated that he has joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the Abia Guber race come 2023.

Candidreporters.com recalls that on Friday, in a live radio program on flo-fm Chief Chikwe Udensi said a serving minister is set to join the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

During the live radio program, an hour later,the minister said “I stand as good market, anybody can use me to stand as good market.”

” I am in APC, I am not leaving APC, there is no problem in APC, we are in one party, just that we had few differences and it has been soughted out by the new chairman.

“For me, I have not seen Chikwe Udensi for the last one year, don’t be surprised that some people are coming from rehabilitation center and come up to say anything they like.

“I want you to jettison whatever he has said, maybe he was just waking up from the wrong side. Uche Ogah said.

The minister also refuted that he has no time went for consultation with APGA. He also debunked the reports that he never planned to join the Young Progressives Party (YPP).

The minister also revealed that he will be contesting for the gubernatorial seat in Abia come 2023.

“Not if I will run in 2023, I will be the governor of Abia State come 2023 under the platform of APC” Dr Uche Ogah said.

“The public should know that I should not be used for political merchandise.” Ogah added.
