Bishop Dr Emeka Michael Nwankpa, the governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Abia State in the March 18 governorship election, has felicitated Dr Max Nduagu as the ex-university teacher marks his 75th birthday anniversary.
In the congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Saturday, October 16th, the revered cleric described Dr Max Nduaguibe as a ‘towering political iroko whose branches give shade to all and sundry.’
The message reads:
“Dear Dee Max, it is with a heart full of joy and gratitude to God that I felicitate you on this occasion of your 75th birthday anniversary. You are a political iroko whose branches give shade to all and sundry. Your endearing legacies will remain indelible.
As you mark yet another milestone in life, I pray to the Almighty God to grant you many years of good health and prosperity. May He continue to bless you with more wisdom to continue serving our society.
Congratulations, once again, Dee Max.”
Dr Max Nduaguibe, who was a law lecturer at the University of Calabar, Nigeria, once contested the governorship seat of Abia State on the platform of DPN, now defunct, and has since then remained one of the major power brokers in Abia State.
Aside from this, he is the founder and president of the Ukwa-la-Ngwa Council of Elders, the apex sociocultural interest group in the Ukwa-la-Ngwa nation.
