President Bola Tinubu has approved the change in the retirement age of medical doctors and other healthcare professionals in the country from 60 to 65 years. The Chinese government is set to impose a 15 percent tariff on imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and coal from the United States as a countermeasure to U.S. tariffs. The federal government has refuted reports that it plans to increase electricity tariffs by 65 percent.
