The Abia State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors has unveiled a new weekly radio programme aimed at showcasing the policies and achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across the Abia State.
The initiative, spearheaded by the state coordinator: Former Minister of Science and Technology, Chief Henry I. Ikoh, is designed to deepen public understanding of government reforms and create a platform for citizen engagement on governance and policies development.
The programme, titled Renewed Hope Hour, airs every Thursday at 9 a.m. on FLO 94.9 FM in Umuahia and will serve as an interactive forum where Nigerians can ask questions, share feedback, and gain insights into key policy decisions of the current administration.
According to Ikoh, the show will focus on breaking down the President’s economic agenda, explaining how ongoing reforms impact everyday life, particularly the Abia Community. He noted that the programme will feature expert analysis, data-driven discussions, and updates on developments within Abia State.
The initiative is powered by key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC): Director General of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Senator Hope Uzodimma, former Minister of Science and technology, Abia State Renewed Hope Coordinator, Chief Henry Ikoh.
The programme will bridge the information gap between President Bola Tinubus government and the people of Abia to promote inclusiveness, transparency as well as encourage active citizen participation in governance.
They added that beyond highlighting achievements, the stage will also interrogate policies and track progress in critical sectors, fostering informed public discourse ahead of future political developments.
