The National Working Committee (NWC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has by a special resolution dated 1st August, 2022 dissolved the Abia State Executives. gathered that the lastest resolution of the party sacks Don Norman Obinna as the party Chairman of Abia state.

However, gathered that Don Norman has done much grassroot mobilisation for the party in Abia state which gave the party much publicity before his removal.

This is just as it also constituted an 11-member interim Executives for Abia State.

This was contained in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and co-signed by the ADC National Chairman, Ralphs Okey Nwosu and National Secretary, Alh Said Baba Abdullahi.

The letter captioned ‘Notice of Dissolution of ADC Abia State Exco/Constitution of Interim Exco’ read, “Above captioned subject refers, due to the recent anti-party activities and deliberate effort of some Abia State Executives to undermine our candidates for the general election, coupled with various allegations of grievous misconduct, the NWC has by a special resolution dated 1st August 2022 dissolved the ADC Abia State EXCO and has constituted the under listed as ADC interim Executives for Abia State”.

The ADC interim Executives for Abia State include: Obioma Onwukaike, Chairman; Ndubisi Sunday, Secretary; Bar. Emerson Azubike, Legal Adviser; Chinyere Ogba, Member; Rev P.C Okeiyi, Member; Prince Okwara Agwu, Member; ljeoma Nwokoleme, Member; Barr Mrs Catherine Uwaezuoke, Member; Franklin Ikenna Nwaubani, Member; Uche Noble, Member; and Enger Austin Nwokoli, Member.

Also copied in the letter were the Commissioner of Police, Abia State, IPAC Chairman, Abia State, Director DSS, Abia State, and the Adviser to Abia State Governor on Political Matters.
