The newly-inaugurated member representing Aba North State Constituency in the 8th Abia Assembly, Hon Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu, has congratulated Rt Hon Emmanuel Emeruwa, and Rt Hon Austin Okezie Nmeregini on their elections as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 8th Abia Assembly respectively.
In the congratulatory message personally signed by him and made available to newsmen on Wednesday, Hon Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu described their elections as a call to ‘challenging responsibilities’ in view of the high expectations of Abians. While pledging his loyalty and cooperation, he expressed confidence that they are equal to the tasks.
The message reads in part: Distinguished Speaker, Rt Hon Emmanuel Emeruwa, and Distinguished Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Austin Nmeregini, I am delighted at your elections as Speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively. Your elections are a call to challenging responsibilities in view of the fact that the expectations are high. I have no doubt that you are equal to the tasks. Accept my shipload of congratulations as I pledge my unalloyed support, loyalty and cooperation.’
