Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Chief Liaison Officer, Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja, has condoled with the family of Mr. Akobundu Wisdom Okorie, who tragically lost his life after an alleged police interrogation at the Bende Divisional Command.
During a solemn visit to the bereaved family, Hon. Chinasa described the late Mr. Akobundu Wisdom as an easygoing and peace-loving young man whose good character earned him respect and goodwill from all who knew him.
He assured the family that the government will ensure that justice is served. “No loss is as painful as that of a child. But even in grief, we must find courage in God, who alone gives comfort that endures,” Hon. Chinasa said.
Hon. Chinasa was accompanied on the visit by Hon. Emma Nwankwo, Councillor representing Bende Ward; Hon. Okechukwu Ochiobi; Hon. Ebenezer Chukwuemeka Kanu, Supervisor for Finance, Bende LGA; Mr. Chukwuemeka Ndukwe; and the Labour Party Ward Chairman.
