Following the report on alleged extortion, intimidation, physical abuse by Tochi Ephraim as claimed by protesting drivers in Umuahia on Wednesday, the accused, has refuted the allegation and described it as the job of mischief makers bent on tarnishing his name and personality.
Tochi gave his position while speaking with candidreporters.com correspondent on the matter on Wednesday via telephone.
Tochi however hinted that allegations were false as he revealed that there was only a grand effort by members of a driver union (cooperative union) and other union members to ensure that no commercial bus driver picks passengers along and around the Osisioma flyover in Aba, Abia State.
Tochi also affirmed that other two unions joined in the effort to mandate the drivers to move to their designated parks away from the Osisioma flyover.
