Rt. Hon. Ginger Obinna Onwusibe is a distinguished Nigerian public servant, visionary leader, and accomplished legislator whose life embodies integrity, service, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people. Born on May 1, 1972, to the humble family of late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ginger Amanaha, he rose from modest beginnings and early personal loss to become one of the most respected political figures in Abia State.

His public service journey began at the age of 26 when he was elected Councillor in Isiala Ngwa North LGA in 1998, where his outstanding performance earned him recognition as Chairman of the Abia State Councillors’ Forum and Leader of the Legislative Council. His impact deepened with successive appointments as Transition Committee Chairman of Isiala Ngwa North in 2010 and 2014, during which he delivered transformative projects—including electrification, road grading, youth empowerment, infrastructural upgrades, and improved workers’ welfare.

In 2016, he was overwhelmingly elected Executive Chairman of Isiala Ngwa North, and in 2019, he was entrusted with representing the constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly. His tenure was marked by impactful legislation and far-reaching constituency projects such as schools, mini-stadiums, solar lighting, road rehabilitation, transformers, educational support, and youth empowerment schemes.

His dedication has earned him numerous chieftaincy titles and honours, including the prestigious Knight of the Primatial Order of the First African Church Mission.

In 2023, he was elected Member, House of Representatives for Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency, where he currently serves as Chairman, House Committee on Financial Crimes. In the 10th National Assembly, he has distinguished himself with high-impact motions and bills—including political solutions for national security, reviving the Nsulu Games Village, addressing tuition concerns, tackling erosion disaster, and promoting justice and accountability in security operations.

He has also facilitated extensive capital projects cutting across education, health, ICT, agriculture, transportation, sports, entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and road infrastructure—solidifying his reputation as a servant leader with unmatched developmental footprints.
