Hon. Nwogu Iheanacho, member representing Osisioma Ngwa North State Constituency and Hon. Fyne Ahuama Onyekachi, representing Osisioma Ngwa South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, has dumped his party, Young People’s Party (YPP) for the ruling Labour Party.

Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa, the Speaker of the house read the content of his defection letter at the floor of the house on Tuesday. Hon. Iheanacho explained that he was expelled by his party for anti-party activities. While Hon Fyne said his defection is to support the good works of Governor Alex Otti

Recall that reports earlier has it that the two lawmakers had been expelled from the party for alleged anti-party activities. Onyekachi was accused of making utterances deemed supportive of the Abia State Government led by Governor Alex Otti of the Labour Party.
