A strange lifeless body of a lady was on Monday found lying along Aba Owerri in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.
The body of the lady which looks like a strange hit and run incident left the bones of the leg and hand broken and also has bruises on the body.
Candidreporters.com gathered that a close look to the lifeless body was the logo of Toyota vehicle at the scene just few steps before Madonna Catholic Hospital in Umuahia.
Onlookers around the scene said they saw the lifeless body as they stepped out very early this morning to face the day’s activities.
A policeman who chose to be anonymous placed leaves on the road to create an attention of the incident.
He said; he decided to put the leaves there to show the demarcation on the incident scene for vehicles not to run on it. He also gave more details.
In his words; “Actually I don’t know how it happened but as you can see parts of here body is been brushed and her bones broken. People were saying they cut her private parts but I have to go close to see if It was a tissue on her buttocks but I have seen it was a pad which shows she was in her period, I mean her monthly circle.”
Onlookers also added that her foot wear and mobile phone wasn’t seen at the scene which they say raises suspicious concerns for further investigation.
According to our reporter, few minutes later, the team believed possibly responsible for clearing such corpse arrived the scene and did the needful as they refuse to grant any interview to our reporter.
From a closer view according to our reporter, there was no signs of body parts said to be harvested as some onlookers also rumoured that the body has bullet wounds. No one around could identify the dead body as at the time of filing this report.
