Emeka Okorafor, the organizing secretary of Abia APC, former house member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency of Abia State has applauded the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections held in Abia State.
Okoroafor in his commendation speech on Monday also applauded Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives and the state working committee (SWC) of the Abia APC for a peaceful conduct of the primary election which he also said was fairly conducted.
Okoroafor noted the mixed feelings of some party faithful and urged them to embrace reconciliation and dialogue to stabilize the party in Abia.
“People have emerged, in a contest you must have a winner even if all are eminently qualified, a winner must emerge”. Hon. Okoroafor said.
Okoroafor assured Eric Opah, the Abia APC governorship candidate of his support and that of the SWC. He added that they are committed to working hard to produce APC governor in Abia State in the 2027 election.
Okoroafor termed results of the primaries as “the outcome of politics”. He applauded the reconciliation move led by Hon. Kalu as he also called on all members and primary election candidates of the party to embrace peace and work in unity.
He assured that he will work in synergy with Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, the Abia APC Chairman, state working committee and Eric Opah campaign team for victory in the 2027 polls.
