Some aggrieved Nigerians has taken to the streets of Lagos to protest against the rising rate of hunger in the country.
The protest coincides with the Democracy Day celebration as the aggrieved Nigerians took to the streets to protest against not just the hunger but also the economic hardship.
CANDID REPORTERS gathered that the protesters are currently gathered at the Ikeja underbridge to commence the #EndHunger protest.
The activists are carrying banners with various inscriptions such as ‘This hunger is too much’, ‘President Tinubu, let the poor breathe’, and ‘Reverse anti-people policies’.
Armed police officers were also seen stationed in strategic locations around the Ikeja underbridge.
In the same vein, in Abuja, aggrieved Nigerians gathered under the Berger Bridge to protest against the Tinubu administration.
