INELS Superstore has been unveiled in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State.

The Unveiling was headed on Wednesday by Mike Okiro, former Inspector General of Police, also accompanied by veteran actor and Nollywood star, Kanayo O. Kanayo.

INELS Superstore is located at house number 79 Aba Road, Umuahia.

 In a chat with newsmen after cutting the tape which signifies the official opening of the superstore for business, the former IGP said  he is delighted to be part of the opening of INELS superstore for business after witnessing similar unveiling of INELS Superstore in Akwa-Ibom some years back. He also revealed that INELS superstore will have ripple effect on the economy of Abia State due to the fact that people will be employed and will reduce the rate of unemployment in the state.

Okiro called on Abians to visit the INELS Ssuperstore and get their requirements for a cheaper rate and best quality. He also added that Abia state government should introduce tax reforms to encourage more investors to the state.

Also present during the official opening of INELS superstore was Kanayo O. Kanayo, popular Nollywood actor and lawyer by profession.

Kanayo also revealed that same INELS superstore has been running in Imo State while encouraging Abians and those passing through Abia State to do their shopping at INELS Superstore which he certified to have the best quality of products for affordable price.

Knayo also revealved that he attended secondary in Abia state thus, familiar with the environment and also has good relationship with governor Alex Otti of Abia state.

In his words: “I’m more Aba than Mbaise, so you need to understand it that when I speak, part of me breaths in this State, my friend is Governor now, so I can assure you of more of me bringing things, I’m not going to government house to take ‘Thank You For Coming’ but to bring things that will energize the state, build synergies, collaboration , partnership and make sure that in the areas of entertainment, Abia is not taking last.”

The CEO of INELS Superstore, Ifeanyi Emmanuel Nwankwo in a chat with newsmen said the investment is done for humanity purpose and he wants to drive the relevant bodies to realise that no nation in the world can take care of security issues with policing alone but requires the intervention of stakeholder.

He revealed that there’s giveaway package for police officers from two zones in Abia State. The package involves having the best police officers from (Aba and Umuahia) will shop for free with their families every new term or semester, starting from January.

Ifeanyi said he is going to reach conclusion with Abia State commissioner of Police on the qualification of the police officers that will benefit from the yearly  giveaway package. He also revealed that the free shopping package will begin with police officers in Abia State and further extend to other INELS Superstores in the country.

Ifeanyi also added that as an ex-chairman of police officers, the police is his constituency.

In his words: “Police has done much for me, now I have run off my program with them, I’m now in this, I want to use this to motivate other stakeholders and captains of industries to emulate this. If we don’t come together to assist police, all of us will regret it,  if not today but tomorrow. The Police is my constituency.”
