The house of Hon. Ekene Nnodimele at Obibi Awo Idemili in Orsu local government area of Imo state was in the early hours of Wednesday attacked by unknown gunmen.
The attackers beheaded the security man on guard and also set the building ablaze.
According to an eye witness, who narrated the attack said “we were sleeping last night at about 1:30am, we noticed someone was knocking on the door and threatened that if we don’t open the door, we will be shot and our lives will be a wasted.
“As we opened the door, they asked for our identify, searched everywhere before going outside and started shooting sporadically.
“Sighting the danger, we hurriedly evacuated our sick parents from the house and ran for safety. After their operation, we noticed that they have killed our security guard, cut his head and also set the building ablaze.
