Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, the Abia State Liaison Officer to the National Assembly, was among the distinguished participants at the Q2 Executive Council Retreat of the Abia State Government, which held at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia.
The two-day retreat, themed “Sustaining Momentum: Leadership in Motion,” is a bold initiative of the Governor, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, aimed at deepening collaboration, sharpening leadership focus, and ensuring optimal performance from members of the Executive Council.
Speaking at the retreat, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa described the program as timely, strategic, and a reflection of the Governor’s unwavering commitment to good governance and accountability.
“This retreat is a demonstration of the Governor’s continuous push for a results-driven government. The theme captures the present reality of Abia under Dr. Otti’s leadership — a government that is not just in motion but is steadily gaining momentum with visible impacts across every sector,” Hon. Chinasa remarked.
He lauded the quality of presentations and discussions held during the retreat, noting that the sessions provided clarity, renewed energy, and a unified direction for all appointees to operate in line with the vision of the New Abia.
Hon. Chinasa further expressed confidence that the outcomes of the retreat will translate into greater effectiveness in service delivery, better alignment of government goals, and a stronger connection between the State Government and the Federal legislative arm, which he represents.
He commended Governor Otti for creating platforms that empower political appointees with the knowledge, tools, and strategic insight to serve Abians better.
“The success of this retreat is evident in the renewed sense of purpose among participants. It’s clear that Abia is on the right track, and the Governor’s leadership style is both inspiring and transformational,” he added.
As the Liaison Officer, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa pledged continued collaboration and support from the National Assembly front, reiterating his readiness to advance the state’s interest at the federal level in alignment with the administration’s developmental agenda.
