The incident happened on Monday at Bende road in Umuahia, the capital city of Abia state.
The body of the killed policeman has been removed, however, the remains of the brain tissues litters on the road by the Centra Police Station (CPS).
According to eye witness who pleaded anonymous said the diseased policeman opened the roadblock for the truck driver to drive through, only for the truck to role back while making effort to select the gea, the policeman was standing behind and backing the rolling truck. The truck however knocked him down from behind and rolled over the head.
The driver came out and mixed up with the group of people who ran to the scene. The driver was no where to be found but his assistant (conductor) was said to be currently in police custody at CPS.
