The Federal High Court in Abuja has rescheduled Friday September 26th, 2025 for the determination of application filed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on the no-case submission in his case with the federal government. CANDID REPORTERS recalls that the ruling was previously scheduled for October 10. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has released a statement on the demise of Maurice Ogbonna, Cross River state commander found dead in hotel room. The commander was found dead on Thursday, in a hotel room in Calabar, as his colleagues arrived to pick him up for an assignment. Governor Siminalayi Fubara, of Rivers State is scheduled to address residents of the state on Friday in a statewide broadcast. Governor Fubara disclosed this while addressing journalists at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
