The African Democratic Congress (ADC) senatorial candidate for Abia North Senatorial Zone Ambassador Osita Offor “Ultimate Commander”, has rejected the declaration of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as the winner of the election.

In a press release made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER and signed by Osita Offor himself, he posited that the election was inconclusive and wondered why the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will declare a winner in an election yet to be concluded.

“Elections did not hold in so many polling units in Ohafia and Arochukwu LGAs respectively. More than 100,000 voters in this various polling units have not exercised their franchise and these are the areas of my core votes, so I wonder why INEC will declare Senator Orji the winner of an inconclusive election”

“A lot of my supporters are from Ohafia and Arochukwu LGA’S, they have been calling me and insisting that they need to vote so that I can win the election. Why will INEC allow corrupt staff within their ranks to destroy our political process”

“I also gathered that vote buying and other malpractices, irregularities were the other of the day in Isuikwuato and Umunneochi LGAs”

“Obviously this declaration is absurd, this declaration is induced and I will fight within the ambit of the law to make sure the right things are done in elections in Abia North”
