A popular radio personality in Abia State, Temple Barrah, aka Tici Barrah has alerted the public to a threat on his life allegedly by one Felix Ndukwe, a gospel music artiste during the Inauguration ceremony of Abia governor, Dr Alex Otti.
According to Tici who anchored the event as one of the Masters of Ceremony (MC) in the event narrated on his Facebook page that fracas ensured at the Umuahia township stadium on Monday shortly after the inauguration speech of Governor Alex Otti.
Tici also revealed that he was slapped by Felix Ndukwe on the podium and also took a pictures of him and said “he will deal with me.”
Tici also revealed that he has formally reported the matter to the Central Police Station, Umuahia and Ndukwe has been invited according to his narrative.
Tici Barrah narrates;
“On the 29th of May, 2023 at the Umuahia Township stadium I was slapped by Felix Ndukwe on the podium during the performances; he also asked his boys to chase me out of the stage. I refused to leave, I had to call on two mobile policemen who could do nothing but beg them to leave me alone to carry out my MC duties”.
“He collected the mic insisting he must perform after I announced Ohafia’s finest Emmanuel Ndukwe – King OT to take the stage.
“At some point, I had to run to Abia Comets office to get help and when we got to the podium the crowd had moved to the gate and had become irate; threatening to beat him up for disrupting the show; but for the security men there.
“He was asked to apologize but he blatantly refused. I walked away at the instance of Coach Victor Nwakama.
“FELIX NDUKWE now claims he never lifted a finger at me!!
“WHAT WAS MY OFFENSE?
I didn’t call him up to perform.
Felix Ndukwe wasn’t on my list of performing artists and I had strict instructions to follow.
“WHY AM I CALLING HIM OUT?
Felix Ndukwe took a picture of me and said he will deal with me; called my names and embarrassed me; and for the past 48 hours, I have not recovered from the emotional torture.
“LET IT BE ON RECORD
I have made a formal complaint at the Central Police Station, Umuahia and he has been invited, I have heard from the grapevine, that he has made some calls to avoid that visit or to get a soft landing!
“I WANT TO USE THIS MEDIUM

“I have had a lot of people send me messages placating me; even people I don’t know personally. “
