Senate Fixes Date to Take Decision on Rivers State of Emergency

The Nigeria Senate has fixed Thursday 21st March, 2025 to make a decision on approving the state of emergency declared on Rivers state by president Ahmed Tinubu.

The Senate leader Opeyemi Bamidele, recommended that the motion be deferred to the next legislative day, a proposal seconded by Abba Moro, the minority leader.
