Abia State National Assembly Liaison Officer, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, recently joined Governor Dr. Alex Otti and other top government officials at the swearing-in ceremony of Dr. Emmanuel Meribole, Special Adviser on Projects (Airport), and Amb. Annie Onu, Executive Secretary of Abia Diaspora Commission.
During the ceremony which took place at the Banquet Hall of Government House Umuahia, Governor Otti emphasized the importance of integrity and professionalism in public service, urging the new appointees to maintain the highest standards while avoiding corruption. He highlighted the administration’s commitment to innovative service delivery, aimed at improving the lives of Abians.
The governor specifically tasked Amb. Annie Onu with fostering strong relationships between the state government and Abians living abroad, promoting collaboration to drive development initiatives that benefit both local and diaspora communities.
