Hon Chijioke Chukwu Hails Deputy Speaker on Christmas

In the spirit of Christmas, a season of goodwill and unity, Hon Chijioke Chukwu, the former Minority Leader of Abia State House of Assembly, has extended heartfelt commendations to Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

In a statement issued by the former Bende North State Constituency Member, Hon Chukwu lauded the Deputy Speaker for his remarkable leadership and dedication to fostering a detribalized and inclusive Nigeria. He described Rt Hon Ben Kalu as a politician whose approach to governance transcends ethnic and regional divides, reflecting the true essence of nation-building.

Chukwu said the Deputy Speaker’s excellent reward system has yielded tangible results, as evident in the numerous appointments made by the presidency.

According to him, Christmas is a time of celebration, reflection, and appreciation, seizing the opportunity to celebrate Rt Hon Ben Kalu, whose style of politics not only rewards hard work but also promotes unity and progress for all Nigerians, irrespective of their backgrounds.

He further emphasized that the appointment of Rt Hon Kalu as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives was a testament to his outstanding leadership and political sagacity,adding that Kalu’s ascent to the position has further strengthened his political trajectory, not only within Abia State or the South East region but also on the national stage.

“His rise is a direct result of his relentless commitment to service and dedication to the welfare of the people. His leadership in the House of Representatives continues to inspire many, particularly the youth, showing that hard work and determination can lead to success”, Hon Chukwu added.

The former Minority Leader equally highlighted the Deputy Speaker’s dedication to promoting policies that benefit the masses, strengthen democratic institutions and advance the nation’s development. Hon Chukwu reiterated that, as a public servant, Rt Hon Ben Kalu exemplifies the values of integrity, dedication and patriotism.

Moreso, Chukwu, wished the Reps Deputy Speaker and his family a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, expressing optimism that under his leadership, the country would continue to make strides toward unity, progress, and sustainable development.
