A group known as Africa-Israel Initiative (Aii) in Nigeria has revealed plans to invest in human capital development programs in the south east states of Nigeria.
The group held a prayer march in Umuahia on Tuesday as a launch of the project’s initiative. The prayer section entertained documented prayer points individually picked and attended to. The event also entertained special songs, ministration, intercessory prayers for Nigeria and its leaders and Goodwill Message delivered by Project’s group Director, Bishop Sally William Chinebu PhD.

Responding to newsmen in Umuahia after the prayer section to kick-start the groups agenda, Bishop Sally said the group also has a vision to speak about Israel in Africa, in a bid to give Israel the needed publicity and support to invest in humans in the south eastern states of Nigeria such as through training in health fields, technology, security, education, business etc.

Bishop Sally holds the view that Israel is not as popular in Africa compared to Europe, stating that there’s no proper synergy between Israel as country and Africa as a continent. She also added that the Bible is the genesis of Israel, and the ‘Africa-Israel Initiative’ as a group is all out to give Israel the needed recognition and support.
Bishop Sally also revealed that apart from holding a prayer march, the initiative is also set to execute projects in the south east that will benefit citizens of the states captured in the project.
‘‘We are packaging very solid business and project; it has to do with technology, transportation technology, agriculture, hi-tech, education and medicals. We want to have the best; we want to do something new with this name, Africa-Israel Initiative. We are going to partner with our Jewish brothers all over the world’’. Dr. Sally said.
To hit the ground running, Bishop Sally said the group will be approaching Enugu state government to acquire about 15 to 20 hectares of land for the project which will have medical centre among others mentioned in the project plans to train a lot of people in the south East states of Nigeria.

Asking if the gathering was politically motivated of bankrolled, Bishop Sally said she is solely operating on her own with other international partners of the project. She however hinted that the ongoing event and her presence in Nigeria are in the notice of the Israeli government. She affirmed that she wrote to Abia state governor, Alex Otti and Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu about her presence, the project’s prayer march in Abia and the purpose of ‘Africa-Israel Initiative’.
‘’I wrote them a letter because they are my family, two of them are my family members’’. On security, we are going to have people that will be trailed on that level as well as other areas. Bishop Sally said.
Asking about the sponsors of the planed project in the south east, Dr. Sally said she’s working with the Israeli government and the group is been sponsored by its members.
‘’We are sponsoring ourselves, with time we will have sponsorship, we are working with the government of Israel, the government of Israel knows that I’m here and they knows that we are in 28 countries, and this prayer is going on in 28 countries simultaneously except for time zone differences. 25 strong African countries are involved in this project, we’re in all east African countries’’. Bishop Sally said.
