Governor Alex Otti of Abia State is set to officially commission the Ogbo Smart School located at Ubakala, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State.
In a press release by Prince Okey Kanu, Abia Commissioner for Information on Monday, he stated that Governor Alex Otti will be joined by Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa for the commissioning.
The commissioning ceremony will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, by 8:00 a.m.
Prince Okey Kanu added that the Abia State Government continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing world-class educational infrastructure and advancing quality education through innovation and technology.
“The event marks another significant milestone in the transformation of the education sector in Abia State and underscores the administration’s resolve to equip learners with modern facilities that will prepare them for the demands of the 21st century.
“Members of the public, stakeholders in the education sector, community leaders, and the media are cordially invited to witness this landmark occasion”. The statement read.
