Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa has expressed the Abia State government’s commitment in strengthening international relationships that promote mutual growth, people-to-people connection, and global inclusion.
Hon. Chinasa gave the state’s position on Monday during the commemoration of French National Day, also known as Bastille Day.
The Abia State Liaison Officer to the National Assembly, represented Governor Alex Otti at the event.
The historic event celebrates France’s transition from monarchy to republic, symbolizing liberty, equality, and fraternity – ideals that resonate globally.
Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa conveyed Governor Otti’s warm regards to the French government, diplomatic community, and people of France. He acknowledged the longstanding friendship between France and Nigeria, which continues to flourish in areas like cultural exchange, education, diplomacy, and international cooperation.
Hon. Chinasa also holds that as the French tricolour flag waved high, it symbolized the enduring ties between nations – a bond that Abia State is proud to be part of.
