Abia State Governor, His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti, OFR, has approved the complete reconstruction and upgrade of the Umunneato General Hospital to a specialist hospital to serve Abia North senatorial zone.
The iconic Umunnato General Hospital is located between Alayi and Igbere in Bende LGA of Abia State.
This marks a watershed in Governor Alex Otti’s effort to completely change the face of Abia State health sector, especially, his audacious push to establish three functional and well equipped Specialist Hospitals in the state.
