The former minority leader in the 7th Abia state house of assembly, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu has expressed his appreciation to president Bola Tinubu for signing into law two federal institutions to be cited in Abia state, a feat which was facilitated by the indefatigable Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu.

The former minority leader said there has never been any such development in any state where two tertiary institutions were established simultaneously to the benefits of the people.

He stressed that the establishment of the institutions in Abia state will boost the economy of the state as well as reduces the unemployment rate ravaging the state.

The Board member of the North West Development Commission, further explained that the APC government has done a lot for the people of Abia state, therefore, they should always support the government of President Bola Tinubu and also the Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin, in their quest to bring Abia to the limelight of development.

“I want to sincerely thank the president and Commander in chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Tinubu, for his thoughtfulness in approving the establishment of federal university of medical and health sciences and the Federal College of Education in Bende, through the instrumentality of the Deputy speaker shows that the APC led federal government has the interest of Abians at heart. I want to urge Abians not to be distracted in supporting the APC government as they poised to bring massive development to the state, ” Chukwu stated.

It could be recalled that President Bola Tinubu recently signed 3 bills into law, approving the establishment of  the Federal university of medical and health sciences Item, Federal College of Education Bende,  as well as the Federal university Okigwe, all sponsored by the Deputy speaker House of representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu.
