Former Minority Leader of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, has praised Former Governor T.A Orji as an iconic leader with exemplary transformational politics.
Chukwu, who represented Bende North State Constituency at 7th Abia State House of Assembly commended Orji’s commitment to human capital development, which shone through during his governorship and two terms in the National Assembly.
The APC Chieftain in his birthday tribute described Orji’s leadership style as visionary, and impactful.
“As governor, he prioritised education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, laying the foundation for the state’s growth. His tenure was marked by significant achievements, including the construction of critical infrastructure and the empowerment of citizens through various programs. Ochendo initiated various programmes to empower citizens, promoting economic growth and self-reliance”.
Hon Chukwu underscored Ochendo’s politics of no bitterness and acrimony while recalling how he peacefully retired from active active politics after his time at the senate and urged others elder statesman to emulate Senator Orji’s life of selfless service to humanity.
