The medical panel set up by the NMA President has informed the Federal High Court in Abuja that the illness of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, is not life-threatening. The Nigerian Medical Association on Thursday said it had concluded the health assessment ordered by the court on the IPOB leader and found that Kanu is fit to stand trial. Nigeria’s inflation rate eased by 2.1 percentage points to 18.02 percent in September 2025 from 20.12 percent in August 2025, representing the 6th consecutive monthly decline since April 2025. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) disclosed this today in its Consumer Price Index (CPI) Report for September 2025. Food inflation also declined by 2.34 percentage points to 19.53 per cent in September from 21.87 per cent in August 2025.
