Senator Orji Kalu has revealed that Simon Ekpa, self-proclaimed leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), threatened him for not supporting Biafra. Francis Nwifuru, Governor of Ebonyi State has given workers in the state 72 hours ultimatum to resume work or get sacked. Governor Nwifuru’s action followed a seven days warning strike embarked on by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Ebonyi State wing.
