The Abia State National Assembly Liaison Officer Hon Iheanyi Frank Chinasa has praised the women of Uzuakoli, describing them as “highly revered pillars of peace and progress.”
The Abia State Governor’s aide made this declaration while speaking as Special Guest of Honour during the grand finale of 2025 Uzuakoli Women’s August Conference, which took place recently, at the playground of Uzuakoli Practicing School.
Represented by Dr Okechukwu Ezeala alongside Hon Ebenezar Chukwuemeka Kanu, Hon Chinasa appreciated the women for their God given role as home and community builders, encouraging them to remain prayerful and supportive of the administration of Governor Alex Otti, which, according to him has continued to deliver many life transforming dividends of democracy, including;
Reconstruction of the all important Uzuakoli-Akara-Ohafia Road, thereby improving connectivity and commerce.
Construction of a Smart School in Amamba/Agbozu Primary School, ushering in a new era of quality education.
Retrofitting and equipping of the Primary Health Care Centre at Ngwu, thereby upgrading the facility to ultra-modern standards for accessible and efficient healthcare delivery.
He used the occasion to reassure the women of his love and support, while emphasizing the need for every Uzuakoli woman to rise to the occasion and become partners with the government in the crucial task of taking Bende to the next level of development.
Hon. Chinasa, through his representatives, pledged to continue leveraging his office in alignment with Governor Otti’s vision to drive sustainable development across Abia State, focusing on Uzuakoli.
In a show of solidarity, Hon. Chinasa, through his foundation made a generous donation in support of the Women’s Wing of Uzuakoli Development Association.
