ABIA: Ministry of Basic Education And Secondary Education Releases Teachers Recruitment Cut-off Mark, List Other Screening Requirements

The Abia State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, have informed all applicants who sat for the Computer-Based Test CBT that the cut-off mark has been set at 45% scores.

A release signed by the Chairman Recruitment Committee, for the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Elder Goodluck Ubochi says the oral interview holds on 31st March to April 4th ,2025 while Candidates are advised to check their dashboard for their designated interview batch,date, time and venue.

According to the release, candidates are required to bring the following original and photocopies for the interview; birth certificate or age declaration affidavit, Local Government of origin certificate, three Passport Photographs must be in white background, evidence of all academic qualifications like First School Leaving Certificate,WAEC,NCE, Degree Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s and PhD . Other documents are Certificate of Membership of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).,NYSC Discharge and Exemption Certificate BVN printout, NIMC Card cum Certificate and Score printout.

The release further directs Candidates to place all their original documents in one office flat file while the Corresponding Photocopies should be kept in another traditional paper file not a plastic file. It states that for inquiries, complaints or further information, candidates are requested call the designated helplines from 8am to 4pm daily.
