Fellow Nigerians,

Today, we join the world in celebrating the International Day of Hope. In a time marked by global anxiety, social fracture, and unrelenting hardship, this day serves as a powerful reminder that hope is not a luxury, but a lifeline.

As we reflect on our nation’s challenges, from insecurity to economic hardship, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But I stand before you today with a firm conviction: we must not surrender our hope. Hope is not the denial of reality; it’s the refusal to let despair define us.

It’s the quiet courage of our market women, the faith of our farmers, and the resilience of our youth. It’s the transformative force that heals what’s broken, unites what’s divided, and lifts the human spirit beyond circumstance.

As Abia State Liaison Officer to the National Assembly, I call on all Nigerians to cultivate environments where hope can thrive. Let’s teach our children that hope is power, lead with empathy, build with inclusion, and speak with unity.

Let this day remind us that we’re not defined by our struggles, but by our refusal to give up. Nigeria will rise because we choose to believe, build, and hope. May we never stop.

Thank you, and God bless Nigeria.
