The Abia Rejoice Movement, the largest and most formidable socio-political movements in Abia State, wishes to unequivocally inform the general public, members of the political community, supporters, and the people of Abia State that it has completely dissociated itself from the gubernatorial campaign and political ambition of Chief Etugo Ndubuisi Ogah.
For the avoidance of doubt, Chief Etugo Ndubuisi Ogah does not represent, speak for, or act on behalf of the Abia Rejoice Movement. Any attempt to suggest otherwise is false, misleading, and completely unauthorized.
The Movement therefore calls on Chief Ogah to immediately desist from using the name, identity, structure, platform, or brand of Abia Rejoice Movement to promote his personal political ambition. The Movement’s name is not available for personal political appropriation, and no individual should misrepresent himself as speaking for an organization without the authorization of its constituted leadership.
We consider any continued attempt to present himself as a representative or principal of the Abia Rejoice Movement as a deliberate misrepresentation of the Movement’s position. The public is hereby advised not to be misled by any campaign material, statement, announcement, or political activity that falsely associates Chief Etugo Ogah’s campaign with the Abia Rejoice Movement.
Our position is clear, deliberate, and unequivocal.
The Abia Rejoice Movement hereby reaffirms its total, unwavering, and strategic support for the re-election of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti.
Our support is rooted in our conviction that Abia deserves continuity of purposeful leadership, progressive governance, institutional development, and sustainable transformation.
As a movement committed to the political and socio-economic advancement of Abia State, we believe that the progress being pursued under the present administration deserves the collective support of all who genuinely desire a stronger, more prosperous, and better-positioned Abia.
Consequently, the leadership of Abia Rejoice Movement has resolved to activate and strengthen its structures across the 17 Local Government Areas, political wards, communities, and polling units of the state in preparation for the forthcoming electoral contest.
Our members, coordinators, leaders, and supporters remain fully mobilized and committed to delivering an overwhelming electoral victory for Dr. Alex Chioma Otti.
Chief Etugo Ogah is free to pursue his political ambition within the bounds of the law and democratic practice. However, he must do so under his own name, identity, structure, and political platform.
He must stop presenting himself as the voice or candidate of the Abia Rejoice Movement.
The Movement has spoken. Its position is clear. Its leadership is united. Its structure remains intact.
No individual, regardless of status or political ambition has the authority to hijack the identity of the Abia Rejoice Movement for personal political purposes.
We therefore urge the general public to disregard any communication suggesting that Abia Rejoice Movement has endorsed, adopted, or joined Chief Etugo Ogah’s campaign.
The Abia Rejoice Movement remains firmly committed to its declared political position and its support for the re-election of Dr. Alex Chioma Otti.
The Movement will continue to operate transparently, responsibly, and strategically in the interest of Abia State and its people.
Our structure is intact.
Our position is unequivocal.
Our mandate is clear.
Our support remains with Dr. Alex Chioma Otti.
