The Onu Ugu Women of Bende Local Government Area held their end-of-year prayer session at the residence of their Patron, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, on Sunday, 30th November. The event brought together women from across the local government area, who gathered to offer prayers for Abia State, Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, the First Lady, Mrs. Priscilla Chidinma Otti, and Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa.
Representing the host, Ebenezer Chukwuemeka Kanu conveyed Hon. Chinasa’s deep appreciation to the women for their unity, commitment, and unwavering support for the administration of Dr. Alex Otti. He applauded their collective efforts in sustaining the ideals of progress and development championed by the Governor.

Kanu reaffirmed that Hon. Chinasa’s doors remain open to all members of the Onu Ugu organization, as well as supporters and lovers of Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, who continue to stand as partners in the new era of growth Abia is experiencing.
He urged the women not to relent in their roles as ambassadors of the Otti mandate, and to remain steadfast despite the actions of detractors who work tirelessly to undermine the successes of the administration.
Kanu highlighted the numerous achievements of Dr. Otti’s transformative leadership, including ongoing infrastructure development, the free education initiative, and other people-oriented reforms, as clear evidence that Abia is on the path to an even brighter future.
The event concluded with renewed hope and strengthened resolve as the women reaffirmed their support for the government and prayed for a more prosperous year ahead.
