PRESS STATEMENT ON THE ALLEGED SUSPENSION OF SEN. ADOLPHUS WABARA, BOT CHAIRMAN OF THE PDP
We, the members of the Ikwueke East Ward of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), wish to categorically state that at no time has the Ikwueke East Ward PDP convened any meeting to suspend the leader of the party in our State, Senator Adolphus Wabara, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of our great party PDP. Any such claims are baseless, unfounded, and completely without merit.
It is important to note that the Abraham Amah-led executive, which has been making these false claims, remains illegal and lacks legitimacy in the eyes of the law. This position has been reinforced by an earlier court order stopping PDP from conducting any congress in the state. Until such an order is vacated by a competent court of jurisdiction, the Abraham Amah-led executive holds no legal standing, and its actions are considered null and void.
We wish to also state that members of PDP Ikwueke East Ward have declared a non grata against Abraham Amah led PDP leadership as such is not welcomed in Ukwa East and Ikwueke East Ward pending when the court order is vacated.
We also call on the Abraham Amah-led executive to henceforth cease and desist from any further actions that seek to embarrass Senator Adolphus Wabara, a respected leader of our party PDP and the BOT Chairman. The relentless attacks on his leadership are not only misguided but also undermine the unity and progress of our party.
In light of these developments, we the members of PDP Ikwueke East Ward, in our collective wisdom and commitment to the growth of the party, hereby pass a vote of absolute confidence in Senator Adolphus Wabara. We stand firmly behind him for his doggedness, unwavering commitment, and tireless efforts to move the party forward, ensuring a brighter future for the PDP and its supporters across the state.
We urge all party members to rally behind our esteemed leader and continue to support his vision for a stronger, more united PDP.
Thank you.
Signed:
Chisom Nwoko – Chairman
Boniface Okpute Deputy Chairman.
